We see retreats as an opportunity for deeper connection to your community as well as a source for additional revenue in a beautiful location. We’ve been hosting retreats here in Taos and we can say that it organically allows a deeper connection to yourself simply by being here surrounded by nature and unplugging from the daily assault of cell phones, meetings, to do lists and commitments back home. Here, you get to get back to your most natural self.

Our Event Space
We use our spacious dining hall (1200 sq feet) as a multi-use space for yoga, meditation, creative writing, and art retreats. When the fireplace is lit up and the aroma of burnt sage fills up the air, you feel right at home in the enchanted Taos.
We have yoga mats, blocks and straps for your use. We can set up the tables and chairs for you.
In the summertime, you are welcome to set up for yoga or any other activity around our chilly-pepper-shaped pool or in the garden under the big shady trees.
When we host retreats, the meals are served in the living room.
A spacious yoga and special events yurt is coming to Blue Sky in the second half of 2019.
Delicious Meals Prepared With So Much Love and Care By Our Chef-Owner Marina
Our chef, Marina, Albina’s mom, prepares every meal from scratch putting lots of love and care into every meal. Marina is originally from Kazakhstan and her cooking reflects the hearty and delicious flavors of Central Asia and Russia.
In her past life, Marina led a giant pharmaceutical company with a team of 1500 people with factories and pharmacies all over Central Asia. She has a PhD in pharmaceutical economics.
Today Marina enjoys running Blue Sky and showering our guests with love and care.

Experience This During Your Retreat
In addition to your yoga/meditation/creative writing/art offering during your retreat, you can add some of these activities to your agenda:
- A Hike to Williams Lake in Taos Ski Valley, or go on a few hikes right from the front door of Blue Sky: Devisidero, El Nogal hiking trails. During summer months, you can do a Full Moon Hike in Williams Lake.
- Take a day trip to Red River and enjoy a beautiful Columbine hike and lunch in town
- Explore numbers art galleries and shops in Taos Plaza (a 15 min walk or a quick car ride from Blue Sky)
- Day trip to Ojo Caliente Natural Springs and Spa
- We recommend that you incorporate a few meals outside Blue Sky during your retreat. Read our blog about our recommended local restaurants
- White Water Rafting, Hot Air Balloons, Lama Rides and so much more in the summer or skiing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, snow mobile rides and so much more in the winter
Pricing to Host a Retreat
We have very affordable pricing for lodging and meals here at Blue Sky Retreat at the historic San Geronimo Lodge.
We have a peak season with slightly higher prices (end of May – mid September) and off season with lower prices (mid January – mid May and mid September – end of December).
Our black out times are Spring Break (usually mid March), Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, the week between Christmas and New Years).
